If anyone can save the beleaguered social media outlet, Myspace, surely its pop star turned actor Justin Timberlake!
JT has joined forces with Californian digital media outfit, Specific Media, in purchasing Myspace from News Corporation for a reported figure of $35 million. Not bad.
The move is not without a niggle of controversy, as one might expect from this wounded beast of the social media jungle.

The question is, can Myspace be saved? Time will tell but, certainly, there's a role to be played by a revitalised Myspace which surely, under the right direction, could offer an excellent platform for social media interaction.
